SO Design Collective is a residential design company built on the premise that home design should be purposeful, accessible, and a true reflection of you.
Done correctly, design is personal. We all deserve spaces that promote comfort and balance in our lives.
With 17 years of industry experience, I help homeowners across New England with projects ranging from custom home designs, to simple kitchen remodels, to complete restorations of antique homes. My approach is rooted in a deep appreciation for the history of architecture and design. This respect for both old and new helps me develop original designs that blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment.
I begin every project by learning about you and the vision that you have for your space. Having worked directly with builders and inspectors, I am able to identify potential constraints and offer creative, tailored solutions. Whether you have a builder selected or want assistance identifying a trusted professional, I’ll deliver a detailed design that can be easily translated from page to reality.
SO Design Collective is committed to creating functional, beautiful spaces that inspire joy—now and for years to come.

Having grown up in a family of carpenters, I have always been fascinated by the way houses are designed and built. When I view the world around me, I can’t help but notice how history has influenced architecture, or how a home’s layout impacts the way its space is used. Even as a child, I was able to see firsthand the profound impact thoughtful designs had on day-to-day life.
After earning my bachelor’s degree in interior design at Boston’s Wentworth Institute of Technology, I spent sixteen years as a home designer for HPI-Spurling Thomas of Natick, and later Harvey Remodeling of Shrewsbury. Working closely with clients from project conception to completion, I fell in love with the holistic nature of residential design. I really got to know and understand builders, inspectors, and other partners in the process. The more I learned what they needed, the more readily I could hone every detail of my design process to offer creative, successful solutions.
As a homeowner myself, I’ve been able to witness how transforming our space has enriched our family life. From big changes like opening up our first-floor layout, to little details like installing some low kitchen countertops to facilitate cooking with my boys, our design adventures have made life better.
I established SO Design Collective to bring my design approach directly to homeowners across New England. I am committed to helping my clients examine both their aesthetic preferences and the ways they need their space to function. Whether designing a new home or remodeling a kitchen, I’m committed to helping my clients achieve balance and harmony through beautiful, purposeful, timeless designs.
